Who is Darth Nihilus?

A few weeks ago on Howard Stern, one of their reporters went to a Star Wars convention and interviewed people. And one person stood out. It was a guy who called himself Darth Nihilus. Apparently, he’s a lesser known Dark Lord, just under Darth Vader or Darth Elmo.

Anyway, it was a great interview. The guy was dressed as Darth Nihilus and got pretty defensive when the interviewer starting to ask him questions like: “Do you live with your Mother?”

Howard and the gang started talking about Darth Nihilus constantly and it became a long-running gag. They made crazy song parodies and phony phone calls with the guy’s glum-sounding voice. Here’s a YouTube video with a compilation of some of those clips:

Soon after the interview was played on the show, Yahoo searches for Darth Nihilus went up by 368%. A story on Yahoo Buzz, which tracks popular searches every week, even listed the top 10 Darths in terms of search. Here they are for your amusement:
